Job Description

at Masterson Staffing in Peoria, Illinois, United States Job Description Duties and responsibilities Reads and interprets data from electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams Wires from schematics and builds industrial control enclosures Performs layout and the modification of metal, and plastic enclosures/panels Lays out/mounts electrical panel components including - circuit breakers, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, input/output devices and/or all related industrial control devices Builds and troubleshoots electrical systems including, but not limited to control panels, control stations and junction boxes Builds wiring harnesses Must be logged into a job no less than 90% of shift Creates and maintains a clean and organized shop and work area - sweeps and cleans as necessary, keeping clutter and trip hazards out of work areas Uses PPE, per training, as required for the specific task being performed Operates safety equipment and use safe work habits Reinforces Jtec Core Values within the company Other jobs and/or duties as directed by Supervisor or other members of management Qualifications Education and Experience High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Associate degree or equivalent training in Electrical, Control Systems Technology, or related field is strongly preferred At least 1+ years mechanical trouble shooting experience required Low Voltage DS experience is required control panel wiring on industrial control systems and components (relays, PLC's, contactors, power supplies, etc.), preferred Valid Driver's License with good driving record and ability to be insured through company insurance require Technology CAD Schematic experience (a plus), but not required Windows PC proficiency Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic and geometry, and their applications To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
