This role is ideal for an experienced technician with strong soldering, assembly, and inspection skills who thrives in a detail-oriented, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities Soldering:
Hand-solder through-hole and surface-mount components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) per engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
Assembly:
Assemble and install small-scale electronic and mechanical components into equipment enclosures.
Inspection:
Perform visual and functional inspections of solder joints and assembled units in accordance with IPC standards and company quality requirements.
Rework & Repair:
Identify and correct soldering and assembly issues using proper rework techniques and tools.
Documentation:
Accurately maintain production logs and records of completed work in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, quality control, and other production staff to troubleshoot and improve assembly processes.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in soldering (through-hole and surface-mount). 3-5 years of experience in electrical wiring and assembly. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics. Proven skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
