elkhart, indiana Posted 7 days ago Closes 8/28/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $16.00 per hour Temporary 5:00 AM- 3:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_178062 Spherion is looking for a Wire Harness Assembler at an Electric Battery manufacturer in Elkhart, IN! The Wire Harness/Assembler is responsible for assembling precisely, inspecting, and testing complex electrical wiring systems. 1st shift: 5am-3pm Monday
- Thursday (OT possible on Fridays)
Pay:
$16/HR Temp-to-Hire position!Responsibilities:
- Route and tie wires together using sleeves, cable ties, and electrical conduits to form the harness
- Cut wires to specific lengths and strip insulation using hand tools or automated machines.
- Follow detailed blueprints, work orders, and color-coded diagrams to ensure wires are placed in the correct sequence
- Use circuit testers or ohmmeters to check for electrical continuity and ensure there are no defects before the product is moved to final assembly Working hours: 5:00 AM

PM Skills:
Ideal candidates will have familiarity with electrical assembly or related experience, mechanical capabilities, a keen understanding of safety, reliability with attendance and good tenure with past employment.Education:
No Degree Required Experience:
1-4 years ...Qualifications:
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to assemble circuts using required components
- Ability to read and comprehend basic schematics
