Cable Assembler Job Description Join our dynamic production team as a Cable Assembler. You will be an integral part of a 12-person team, responsible for assembling and building cables according to specific work instructions. This role involves the use of basic hand tools, such as cable crimpers and strippers, and may require minor soldering. You will also work with taping and cutting machines to ensure high-quality cable assembly. Responsibilities Assemble and build cables following detailed work instructions. Perform minor soldering tasks as needed. Utilize basic hand tools like cable crimpers and cable strippers. Operate taping and cutting machines efficiently. Essential Skills Experience in assembly and cable production. Proficiency with hand tools, including crimpers and strippers. Ability to read and follow schematics and work instructions. Experience with soldering and wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with electronic assembly and harnessing. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work within a small yet expanding production team, currently consisting of 12 members and growing to 16. The schedule is from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential overtime opportunities. Dress code is typical of a production environment, and interviews are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, MA.
