Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician specializing in Panel Wiring to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, wiring, and testing electrical panels and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical experience, mechanical aptitude, and proficiency with various tools and technical schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision and quality in manufacturing processes. Duties Assemble electrical panels according to detailed schematics and technical drawings Wire components using appropriate electrical wiring techniques, including PCB integration and surface mount technology Solder connections adhering to IPC 610 standards for quality assurance Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and related control systems within panels Conduct testing of wiring and assembled panels using ohmmeters, calipers, and other measurement tools Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to complete assembly tasks Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes Collaborate with mechanical teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems Maintain accurate documentation of wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly procedures Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to electrical wiring or component failures Qualifications Proven experience in electrical wiring, panel assembly, or related manufacturing roles Strong knowledge of PCB design, soldering techniques, and surface mount technology (SMT) processes Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematic reading Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly Mechanical knowledge including use of calipers, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately Electrical experience with wiring harnesses, electrical components, and troubleshooting methods Proficiency with testing instruments such as ohmmeters and multimeters Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards in manufacturing environments This position is integral to maintaining high-quality production standards through precise electrical panel wiring and assembly.
