Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical panels and control systems that power a wide range of industrial applications. Your expertise in electrical wiring, schematics interpretation, and component installation will ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment where precision and safety are paramount. Duties Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to accurately assemble control panels and electrical enclosures. Wire electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, terminal blocks, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) following IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to prepare components and ensure precise fitting and alignment. Solder surface mount technology (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) with accuracy and consistency. Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot issues during assembly. Maintain mechanical knowledge to support panel assembly by integrating mechanical parts with electrical components effectively. Follow safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in electrical wiring, panel assembly, or related manufacturing roles with a strong understanding of schematics and technical documentation. Familiarity with PCB assembly processes, surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and IPC 610 standards. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical components, and control systems used in industrial automation. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment efficiently and safely. Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of mechanical assembly processes and use of hand tools. Strong attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting skills for electrical testing and diagnostics. Electrical experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable; certifications or training in electronics or electrical systems are a plus.
