Job Description

Overview We are looking for an electrical/mechanical assembler to test and assemble our vacuum material handling equipment. Our equipment consists of electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and some hydraulic assemblies. You will be responsible for completion, quality, and testing of finished equipment. You will assist other assembly department personnel as needed. Applicant must have experience with electrical wiring, reading and understanding blueprints and schematics, and assembly using a variety or hand and small powered tools. Must also be hands-on, organized, and able to communicate effectively with co-workers. Responsibilities Assemble electrical components using hand tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology techniques. Interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to accurately wire according to specifications. Use power tools and machining equipment to support mechanical assembly tasks, ensuring precise fitting and alignment of parts. Read and follow detailed blueprint specifications, schematics, for quality assurance in electrical and mechanical assemblies. Build electrical panels by wiring circuits, installing components, and verifying connections with testing devices. Troubleshoot engineering issues by diagnosing problems with electrical wiring or mechanical assemblies using schematic reading skills and troubleshooting techniques. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during assembly processes. Skills Ability in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for both electrical and mechanical assemblies. Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus. Previous supervisory experience is helpful. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools for assembly tasks. Knowledge of electrical wiring practices, schematic interpretation, and following blueprint specifications accurately. Ability to lift 75 lbs Pay is commensurate with experience.
