  • (Temp to Perm and Direct Hire for the right candidate) Overview We are seeking an Entry-Level Hybrid Operator to join our microelectronics manufacturing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build foundational skills in hybrid assembly under the mentorship of our Mid-Level and Senior Operators, working toward high-reliability builds (e.g., aerospace, defense, or medical device applications). Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and perform basic die attach operations (epoxy method) under close supervision
  • Train on wire bonding techniques (gold and/or aluminum wedge/ball bonding), building toward independent proficiency
  • Assist with fly wire (jumper wire) installation and tack wire bonding/staking under guidance
  • Perform basic soldering of components and interconnects under microscope, with supervision
  • Observe and assist with lid seal operations as training progresses
  • Conduct basic in-process visual inspections per IPC/MIL specifications, with sign-off from senior staff
  • Learn to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
  • Maintain accurate documentation/travelers for traceability
  • Ask questions and escalate issues promptly to Mid-Level/Senior Operators
  • Maintain a clean, ESD-safe workstation and comply with all safety protocols Required Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in hybrid microelectronics or general electronics assembly
  • Basic soldering skills or willingness to learn (technical school/certificate a plus)
  • Ability to work under high magnification (microscope) for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail, patience, and manual dexterity
  • Strong willingness to learn and take direction from senior technical staff
  • Good hand-eye coordination Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of or enrollment in an electronics assembly/technical training program
  • Basic familiarity with MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001, or
IPC-A-610
standards
  • Prior experience in a cleanroom or controlled environment Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working under a microscope
  • Fine motor control for precision assembly work; ability to develop this skill through training
Required Experience:
