Job Description

John Galt Staffing Electronic Assembler West Wareham, MA Apply Job Duties:
  • Perform electronic and mechanical subassembly and assembly operations for PC boards, cable harnesses, and simple electronic/mechanical assemblies
  • Prepare components for assembly including cutting, stripping, wiring, and fastening connections
  • Perform rework when necessary
  • Pull and strip raw cable
  • Work from diagrams, prints, and engineering specifications
  • Use hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, and crimpers
  • Use potting materials and other chemicals in product assembly
  • May operate drill presses and similar equipment
Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of experience in electronic assembly
  • Complex assembly skills
  • Excellent fine soldering skills and strong hand/eye coordination
  • Experience in electronic construction/repair of PC cards and wiring
  • Experience with cable assembly
  • Ability to work on small, color-coded boards
  • Basic electrical theory preferred
Education:
