Electrical Wire Assembler Technician 1st and 2nd shift positions Job description:
Position:
Electrical Wire Assembler Technician Location:
Frederick, MD 21704
Shift:
1st and 2nd (10 openings, four on 1st shift and six on 2nd shift)
Pay:
1st Shift
  • $19.50/Hour
  • 2nd shift
  • Has a $3.00/Hour shift differential pay. Full-Time
  • 8 hours Monday to
Friday Hours:
1st Shift 6:00am
  • 2:30pm; and 2nd /Shift 2:30pm
  • 11:00pm
  • the 2nd shift has a $3.
00/hour shift differential so starting pay would be $22.50/hour.

Electrical Wire Assembler Technician:
This is a hands-on position. This position integrates electrical components, subassemblies, products, or systems into various configurations by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames:
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch. Must be able to follow verbal, written, and pictorial instructions. Must be able to use hand tools. Mounts and assembles electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, controllers, etc. displaying knowledge of good practices in workmanship and wire routing. Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
2 years of Hand tools and power tools experience 1
  • 3 Years of related experience or training.
Ability to read and understand English Instructions. Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization. Ability to do basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to reach, stool, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance. Ability to heavy lift and/or move up to 50lbs. High School Diploma or GED Work.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical equipment. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
