Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Unit Wire Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring, units to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality electronic components and systems, supporting our commitment to innovation and excellence. This position offers an engaging environment where your mechanical and electrical skills will be put to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Responsibilities Wire components and subassemblies accurately according to detailed electrical wiring diagrams. Solder connections with precision, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards for quality and reliability. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment to prepare parts and perform adjustments. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate proper assembly and troubleshooting. Conduct testing on completed units using electrical testing equipment to verify functionality and safety. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and process logs. Qualifications Strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and mechanical assembly processes. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration within manufacturing systems. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies and quality control procedures. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and machining equipment effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to component installation and unit assembly. Electrical experience with troubleshooting circuits using multimeters or ohmmeters is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in wiring, soldering, and assembly tasks.
