We are seeking a Wiring Technician to join our fast‑paced manufacturing team and support the assembly and wiring of high‑quality electrical products. This role is ideal for candidates with strong attention to detail, experience reading blueprints , diagrams , and schematics , and a commitment to producing safe, reliable electrical assemblies. As part of our team, you will help build switchboards , panelboards , and other electrification products that meet rigorous performance standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble and wire electrical components according to blueprints, schematics, and work orders. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE including safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection. Use hand tools, power tools, and torque wrenches accurately and safely. Read and interpret diagrams, front views, bills of materials, and CAD‑based manufacturing documentation. Assemble switchboards, panelboards, copper bussing, and related electrical structures to exact specifications. Inspect materials and assemblies for damage, nonconforming parts, spacing accuracy, and structural alignment. Identify missing components, resolve assembly issues, and support root‑cause analysis. Communicate progress, shortages, and issues clearly with leads and team members. Use computer systems to access structural designs and manufacturing information. Contribute ideas to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow. Essential Skills & Qualifications Manufacturing experience in electrical or mechanical assembly environments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints , schematics , and bills of materials . Proficiency with hand tools , power tools , and torque wrenches . Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or nonconforming parts. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Problem‑solving skills related to assembly, quality, and component issues. Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with assembly techniques , manufacturing processes , and electrical components . Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.
