Job Overview - Electromechanical Assembler / Control Panel Builder We are seeking experienced Electromechanical Assemblers, Panel Builders, and Mechanical Assemblers to build and wire industrial control panels and precision assemblies . This role combines mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and blueprint reading in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Assemble electromechanical components and assemblies using: Blueprints Wiring diagrams Electrical schematics Build and wire control panels , including layout, routing, and termination of components Perform mechanical assembly tasks such as fitting, fastening, and aligning parts Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and fabrication Measure and mark materials using tape measures and precision tools Work with materials including: Stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and carbon steel Operate manual equipment as needed: Bridgeport mill Manual lathe Surface grinder Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and functionality Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in: Electromechanical assembly Mechanical assembly or manufacturing Experience with control panel wiring and electrical assembly Ability to read and interpret: Blueprints Mechanical drawings Electrical schematics Hands-on experience with hand and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to measure accurately and work to tight tolerances Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a machine shop or tool & die environment Experience operating: Bridgeport mill Manual lathe Surface grinder Experience in industrial manufacturing or equipment assembly Experience with panel layout, wire routing, and component installation Ability to work with integrated mechanical and electrical systems Work Environment & Schedule Small, growing machine shop (approx. 30 employees) Hands-on work with: Mechanical assemblies Electrical control panels Precision machining equipment 1st
