We are hiring a Wire Harness Assembler for a military vehicle manufacturing environment in Walker, MI. This temporary-to-hire role is ideal for candidates with soldering, wiring, and electronic assembly experience in a precision manufacturing setting.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble and solder wire harnesses and electronic componentsWork with low-voltage and high-voltage assemblies using military and industry standardsRead and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructionsOperate crimping machines, wire strippers, and other semi-automated equipmentBuild assemblies using wire boards, fixtures, and templatesPerform visual and dimensional quality inspectionsPrepare, clean, mark, pot, and seal components prior to assemblyInstall electrical parts and hardware using hand and power toolsSupport engineering with first article builds and new product introductionsWork across multiple product lines as neededQualificationsExperience in wire harness assembly or electronic assembly requiredSoldering experience requiredFamiliarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-WHMA-620, J-STD-001) preferredAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and instructionsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipComfortable using hand tools, fixtures, and microscopesAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentMilitary or aerospace assembly experience is a plusEmployee BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and pet insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Commuter/Parking AccountsPeople Perks ProgramHealth Savings Account (HSA)AD&D InsuranceIf you have strong soldering and wiring skills and want to support military-grade manufacturing, click "Apply Now" today.
