Job Description
Azon USA, Inc. is a world leader in the manufacture of machinery and polyurethane systems for thermally insulated aluminum windows and doors. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Control Panel Technician. Responsibilities Build industrial control panels based on schematic, blueprint, and/or wire diagrams Route, label and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards Cut, fabricate, and modify electrical enclosures to accommodate devices and equipment Energize and test completed control panels Inspect finished control panels to verify that all specifications and quality standards have been met Assembling finished panels and/or boxes onto machinery Assist in assembly of machinery Assist in finishing area, I.e Paint/Powdercoat/Black Oxide coatings. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience building and wiring control panels Working knowledge of relay logic and electronic controls for industrial equipment Reading and understanding electrical schematics, panel layout and CAD drawings Understands electrical and electronic symbols - ANSI & IEC Maintain working knowledge of electrical standard NFPA 79 Ability to use hand tools and small power tools to assemble units Familiar with pneumatic and hydraulic components Ability to work efficiently and effectively without direct supervision High school diploma or GED, some college or vocational training a plus Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds
