If you have not soldered within the past 2-3 years, I'm sorry but they will not consider you for this opportunity. Our client is looking to add an Soldering Technician to their team. Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. Pay rate is $17.00/hour
00/hour depending on experience (please note: $22.00/hour is the max so if you're looking for $21/hour or more...this will not be a fit).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required candidate skills profile: Previous experience of soldering and inspecting SMT PCB assemblies Previous experience of working in an Electronics Manufacturing environment Knowledge of SMT component types and package sizes Familiarity of
IPC-A-610
workmanship standards Ability to read and understand both written and verbal instructions in English Able to perform repetitive tasks over a 8-10hr workday Able to sit or stand for an extended period of time Able to perform basic math calculations Able to perform simple Windows (ie PC) based operations using keyboard and mouse Able to be at work on time every time Attention to detail is critical Desired candidate skills profile: Previous experience reworking and repairing SMT and PTH based PCB assemblies Previous experience using rework soldering equipment including soldering irons, hot air removal tools and desolder tools Ability to read a schematic to complete basic electronics assembly troubleshooting Ability to perform complex assembly operations using printed work instructions Ability to perform interactive test and assembly operations involving PC based tools
