Panel Wiring Technician (Wire Harness Panels) Walled Lake, Michigan Long-Term Contract Opportunity | Full-Time Hours $22-$28 per hour Benefits (Day 1 Eligibility) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Paid holidays Full-time contract schedule with long-term potential We are seeking a skilled Panel Wiring Technician with strong experience in wire harness panel assembly . This role is hands-on and focused on building, assembling, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic panel systems used in complex machinery and equipment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 3-5 years of electrical assembly experience Strong experience with wire harness panels preferred Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications Responsibilities Assemble or modify electrical/electronic equipment, including machines and sub-assemblies with a focus on wire harness panels Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to determine material requirements and assembly instructions Assemble electrical/electronic systems and install components using rivets, bolts, soldering, or micro-welding equipment Adjust, repair, or replace electrical/electronic components to correct defects and ensure compliance with specifications Drill or tap holes in equipment for mounting control units and routing wiring or instrumentation Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits for performance and resistance; document results Mark and tag components for inventory tracking and identification Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards Collaborate with leads and supervisors to plan work activities and resolve production issues Provide guidance or explain assembly techniques to other team members as needed This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed electrical work and wants to be part of a long-term contract role with steady hours and strong project demand.
