Assembly Associate Job Description We are seeking dedicated assembly associates to join our dynamic team in a well-established facility that specializes in building machines for spraying liquid adhesives across various industries. This position is essential to our warehouse operations and involves the assembly of dispensing equipment. Responsibilities Assemble dispensing equipment with precision and attention to detail. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams accurately. Operate and maintain equipment efficiently. Utilize miscellaneous hand and measuring tools, gauges, test equipment, and power lift equipment. Prepare, label, move, and track parts effectively. Conduct thorough inspection and quality tracking and reporting. Adhere to all safety and housekeeping procedures. Conform to production and administrative procedures. Enhance existing processes for improved efficiency. Communicate effectively with leaders and collaborate well in a team environment. Essential Skills Proficient in assembly, production, and mechanical assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions. Experience with hand and power tools, including wrenches. Computer literacy is required. 3-5 years of assembly experience, preferably in automotive. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with valves or wiring is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a large, well-lit facility with clean and climate-controlled conditions. The assembly area is centrally located, while warehouse operations take place at the back of the building. The work shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays, totaling an average of 40 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wixom, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
