Electromechanical Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Mechanical Assembly & Integration Technician, where you will play an essential role in the assembly and integration of cutting-edge diagnostic equipment used in hospitals across the United States. This hands-on position involves working with precision tools and integrating sub-assemblies into chassis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities Assemble and integrate Beckman Coulter's diagnostic machines using precision tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, wire strippers, and drills. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) consisting of 100+ steps to ensure seamless assembly. Handle intricate wiring tasks involving over 500 cables and making 900+ connections with small parts. Align, calibrate, and test the functionality of machines throughout the integration process. Maintain precise records and execute work orders efficiently while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Work independently, prioritize assignments effectively, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Demonstrate strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Essential Skills Mechanical assembly and integration. Experience with electronic and electrical assembly. Proficiency in wiring and tubing. Ability to work independently. Strong hand dexterity and focus. Proficiency with Microsoft applications. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in a regulated industry (e.g., FDA, ISO). Experience with hand tools preferred. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand, bend, and reach for prolonged periods. Ability to handle small parts with precision. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.70 - $21.70/hr.
