Clean Room Assembler - Medical Device Manufacturing (Level 2-4) About the Role Join a precision‑focused clean room team assembling implantable medical devices including pacemakers, IPGs, catheters, and sub‑assemblies. You'll work under a microscope, follow detailed drawings, and support new product development builds. This role is ideal for experienced medical assemblers who excel with micro‑components and high‑accuracy work. What You'll Do Build pacemakers, IPGs, catheter systems, and sub‑assemblies using detailed work instructions Perform microscope‑based assembly with very small components Use small hand tools for mechanical and electrical assembly Trim, inspect, and verify parts meet quality and regulatory standards Solder wires and pacemaker enclosures with precision Complete guidewire and catheter‑related assemblies Document work in travelers, QMS, and ERP systems Package finished products for shipment Collaborate with technicians on new product development builds Maintain clean room compliance and a highly organized workspace What You Need 3-5+ years medical device assembly or manufacturing experience Experience building pacemakers, catheters, or similar micro‑assemblies Ability to read production drawings and follow detailed instructions Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills Microscope assembly experience Comfort documenting work in QMS/ERP systems High school diploma or GED Nice to Have 1+ year soldering or welding experience Guidewire or catheter assembly experience Familiarity with clean room gowning and regulated environments Experience supporting new product development Patience, precision, and strong attention to detail Why You'll Love Working Here Rapidly growing company with strong long‑term stability Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA options Company‑paid life insurance, AD&D, and long‑term disability Additional voluntary benefits (STD, accident, critical illness, etc.) PTO, floating holidays, paid holidays, paid parental leave 401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor company contribution Community‑focused culture with events, lunches, and team activities Work Environment Clean, state‑of‑the‑art facility with dedicated clean room Microscope‑based assembly using small tools and specialized equipment Collaborative, team‑oriented atmosphere Modern break room and regular company events
First Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM 30‑minute paid break 30‑minute unpaid lunch Additional 15‑minute paid break Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
