Job Description

Essex Industries is a leading multi-site aerospace and defense manufacturer supporting military and commercial customers around the world. We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team and play a critical role in building high-quality components by following blueprint specifications, manufacturing work instructions, and other controlled documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Receive job order and direction from supervisor or lead. Read and interpret the blueprint. Create setup testing per ATP. Assemble the parts to blueprint specifications. Perform repair work (under FAA guidelines) as required. Read ATP and follow its procedures to test the parts (if ATP is required for the part). Fill out test data to record results of the ATP, if applicable. Ability to complete jobs within set time standards, minimize scrap to acceptable level. Mechanical aptitude to learn new jobs, be cross-trained, and start troubleshooting. Help out where needed to complete the job orders to schedule. Comply with Essex company policies and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements Required to have 6 mo. - 1 year of experience in assembly work and/or 1-3 years of tech school training. Solder Certification/or/experience a plus.
