Job Description

Join the ABEC Manufacturing Team as an Electrical Assembler! Responsibilities Fabricate electrical equipment according to drawings Receive components and confirm against drawing and/or list of materials or quality standards Solder/fit/assemble components Fabricate specialty parts Recommend improvements Conduct operations in a safe manner Follow all safety rules and policies Inspect fabrications for quality, safety, and operation as requested Audit equipment against drawings as requested Prepare equipment for shipment Support fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested Support start-up and equipment repair as requested Trouble short and repair systems as requested Will play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunity Execute other tasks as assigned Domestic and international travel is required. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years' experience in Electrical Assembly or Industrial Controls Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a plus Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./ 23 kilograms Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer's site Required to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor You will need to be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items Exposure to loud noises Ability to wear personal protective equipment Company Background ABEC is a leading supplier to the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. First Shift:
Mon-Thurs 7:00am-3:30pm, Fri 5:00am-1:30pm How many years of electrical assembly experience do you have? The starting pay for this position is $21.00 per hour. After a 90-day probationary period, the employee's pay will be reviewed, with the possibility of an increase. Is this acceptable?
