Panel Shop Fabricator Combustion & Controls, LLC 8441 Industrial Drive, Olive Branch, MS 38654
Description:
Position Summary:
Panel Shop Fabricators assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels for industrial applications. Fabricators read electrical schematics, work with hand tools, and ensure high-quality standards in panel fabrication. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Mount and wire components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, HMIs, power supplies, and terminal blocks. Perform panel layout, drilling, tapping, and component installation. Ensure proper wire routing, labeling, and connections in compliance with electrical codes and company standards. Work closely with engineers and project managers to review designs and resolve any assembly issues. Operate tools and equipment such as wire crimpers, cutters, soldering irons, and multimeters. Assist in quality control inspections and documentation of panel builds. Follow production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining high craftsmanship. Ensure all materials and equipment are organized, used and stored properly. Work safely at all times, following OSHA requirements of the job as well as company safety policies. Keep work area clean, organized and free from clutter, or any potential safety hazards. May be requested to operate a forklift to move products and materials Perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical or industrial technology is a plus. 2+ years of experience in panel fabrication, electrical assembly, or related field experience. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments. Knowledge of industrial control components, electrical wiring, and safety standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise work. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing setting. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Familiarity with PLC and HMI integration.
