Position Summary Kinequip, Inc. is seeking a Soldering Technician to support our electronics manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing high‑quality soldering and electronic assembly work in accordance with production drawings, work instructions, and IPC standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, hands‑on soldering experience, and a commitment to quality and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Perform hand soldering of electronic components, wiring, cable harnesses, and circuit boards Assemble electronic and electro‑mechanical components following IPC standards, schematics, and blueprints Assist with wiring, crimping, and cable assembly as required Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications Perform basic testing and minor troubleshooting of assembled components Use hand tools, soldering irons, and production fixtures safely and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes and product quality Qualifications Previous experience in electronic assembly or soldering in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with through‑hole and/or surface‑mount soldering techniques Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings Familiarity with IPC‑610 and IPC-620 standards preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Comfortable using hand tools, measuring tools, and basic computer systems Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks Team‑oriented mindset with a positive, reliable work ethic Preferred Skills IPC certification Experience with cable harness assembly, crimping, and wire preparation Background in electronics manufacturing or specialty vehicle components Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (commensurate with experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement within a growing manufacturing team Work Location Belmont, NC - On‑site manufacturing facility How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed or submit your resume through Kinequip's Careers page.
