Job Description

Electronic Assembler Location:
Concord, NC Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Compensation:
$20/hr+ Depending on experience About the role: PrideStaff is looking for a detail-oriented Electronic Assembler / Rework Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Concord, NC. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for the high-quality assembly, soldering , and repair of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic sub-assemblies, ensuring every product meets our performance and quality standards.
What you will do:
Perform through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) component placement and soldering using microscopes and specialized hand tools. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform intricate rework on electronic assemblies to correct defects. Read and interpret engineering schematics, assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and detailed work instructions. Conduct visual and functional inspections of PCBs to identify soldering defects or component errors in compliance with IPC standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstation while strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
What you will bring:
Proven experience with both through-hole and SMD/SMT soldering techniques. Demonstrated ability to read electronic schematics and understand component polarity/orientation. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for working with miniature components under magnification. Preferred Skills (Highly Desirable) Current or previous IPC J-STD-001 or
IPC-A-610
certification. Experience operating automated or semi-automated assembly equipment. Familiarity with testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
