E/M Assembler Manufacturing Concepts Durham, NC Job Details Temp-to-hire $18 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Attention to detail Manufacturing Hand tools Full Job Description We are currently seeking experienced Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers for multiple openings on 1st and 2nd shift. This position is ideal for candidates with experience using hand and power tools to assemble mechanical and electrical components in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints, work instructions, and assembly drawings Use hand tools and power tools to build subassemblies and finished products Install wiring, connectors, switches, and other electrical components Route and secure wires, cables, and harnesses Perform mechanical assembly of frames, brackets, panels, and other components Conduct quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualifications:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or electro-mechanical assembly Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions Experience with wiring, crimping, or cable assembly preferred Soldering experience is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
High School Diploma or GED Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
