Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable Assembly Technician / Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble components and sub assemblies using written instructions, tools, and measuring equipment while ensuring product quality and safety standards are met. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and the capability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble components and sub assemblies according to work instructions and specifications Read and follow written and verbal instructions, purchase orders, invoices, and production records Review assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to prepare work Gather required tools, materials, and parts for production tasks Position parts and sub assemblies using templates, fixtures, or measurements Fasten and connect parts to complete assemblies Verify completed work by measuring and inspecting components to ensure specifications are met Troubleshoot basic assembly or equipment issues and report problems to a supervisor Perform preventive maintenance and assist with equipment troubleshooting when needed Maintain accurate production and quality documentation Maintain supply inventory and assist with ordering materials when necessary Follow all company safety procedures and policies Maintain a clean and organized work area, including warehouse housekeeping and 5S practices Identify damaged items, incorrect orders, equipment issues, or shortages Assist with general warehouse and facility housekeeping Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation Basic computer skills required Ability to read instructions, drawings, charts, and specifications Ability to use basic measuring tools such as rulers and gauges Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1 year of related manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse experience preferred Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods Use hands to handle tools and materials Reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and stoop as needed Lift and move: Up to 10 lbs regularly, Up to 25 lbs occasionally, Up to 50 lbs occasionally (TB-ADT) #IND1
Pay:
$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
