Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting electronic components and electro-mechanical assemblies with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality electrical and electronic products that meet strict industry standards. Responsibilities Perform soldering of surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed blueprints and schematics. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately assemble electrical panels, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical components. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other precision measurement instruments to ensure proper assembly and quality control. Follow IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly, ensuring all solder joints meet industry quality specifications. Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues during assembly processes by interpreting schematics and applying engineering troubleshooting techniques. Maintain a clean, organized workstation adhering to safety protocols while handling sensitive electronic components. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve assembly processes and implement best practices for quality assurance. Experience Proven experience in electronics assembly, PCB soldering, or related manufacturing roles. Strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematic reading, and blueprint interpretation within an industrial setting. Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), electrical schematic reading, and following blueprint specifications. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices used in electrical assembly. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to electro-mechanical components, machining processes, and mechanical assembly is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using engineering principles and diagnostic tools such as multimeters or oscilloscopes.
