Job Description

Position:
Electronics Technician/Assembler Location:
Merrimack, NH (5 Days onsite in a week)
Type/Duration:
Contract (9+ Months)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work from drawings, sketches, schematics, technical manuals and written/verbal instructions to construct assemblies. Use multimeters and other basic test equipment to troubleshoot, debug and perform measurements on electronic and mechanical assemblies. Set up and operate oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test equipment to test, align, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and verify product functionality. Perform assembly, repair, and soldering activities as required. Conduct tests and experiments of moderate complexity and modify test setups or procedures when necessary. Analyze test data for accuracy, applicability, practicality, and conformance to specifications. Compile and present technical data from recognized sources. Set up and operate complex test and experimental equipment and document results. Work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support product transitions and process improvements. Provide technical guidance to team members and support personnel. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Associate s Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Years of related technical experience. Ability to read and interpret diagnostic data. Basic mechanical aptitude. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong technical communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database software. Understanding of test software is desirable.
