An Assembler 2 reads andinterprets schematic drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble electroniccomponents according to product specifications. Supports production andefficient machine operation under direct supervision. Familiar with standard assemblyconcepts, practices, and procedures.Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and repair precision electromechanical parts, assemblies, and equipment under supervision. Align, fit, and assembly component parts into completed units, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and templates. Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Examine parts for defects, repairs, reworks, and calibrate assemblies to meet operational tolerances. Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Key Competencies & Skills required: Experience in hand soldering, manually placing small parts or components onto an electrical assembly. Wire bonding experience is a plus. Familiar with following travelers and standard operating procedures and follows basics of assembly drawings under direct supervision. Experience using microscopes to inspect products and ensure the highest standard of quality.
