Job Description
The Electrical Assembler will perform assembly operations on second shift in the Electrical Assembly area to include assembly of a variety of mechanical systems involving electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic circuitry, precision controls, mechanical components and units having precise and critical operation specifications. Specific work activities will include the making of wiring harnesses, board soldering, component installation, building and assembly of electrical panels, building controllers and installation of software, testing, tuning and troubleshooting, and assembly of cabinets.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and wire simple electro-mechanical systems using provided schematics and work instructions. Create wiring harnesses and perform basic soldering tasks. Populate and wire electrical panels according to blueprints and wire lists. Use hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons. Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or issues to supervisors. Collaborate with more senior employees to learn tips and tricks for efficient and high-quality panel wiring. Assist higher-level assemblers with more complex builds as needed.Required Skils:
- Basic understanding of electrical components and circuits.
- Ability to read and follow simple schematics and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic measuring instruments such as Multimeters and Oscilloscopes.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from senior staff.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. 0-2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly. Technical training or coursework in electronics or manufacturing is a plus.Similar remote jobs
