Job Description

Electro‑Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift (Boonton, NJ 07005)
Pay:
Base rate + 30% increase for all new starts
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Type:
1099 Independent Contractor - Right to Permanent We're moving fast — qualified candidates will be contacted quickly.
Note:
New contractors receive a 30% pay increase to cover the client's compensation package. This increase ends at conversion, but full benefits begin (PTO, holidays, etc.). Requirements Background check Drug test Overtime Job Summary Perform electro‑mechanical assembly using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Work with close tolerances, multiple components, and both hand tools and production machines in an ISO‑compliant environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble and wire equipment using blueprints and models Follow mechanical drawings and work cell procedures Operate basic production machines (presses, crimpers, riveters, engravers) Build harness assemblies Use hand and power tools Perform light computer tasks (open prints, update SAP/Excel) May perform thru‑hole PCB assembly Maintain quality standards and follow PPE/5S requirements Work overtime as needed Qualifications 1-3 years electro‑mechanical assembly experience Ability to read blueprints and schematics Strong workmanship and attention to detail Good verbal communication skills Physical Requirements Lift up to 35 lbs Stand, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift
Pay:
Up to $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
