Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Assembler to support electronic assembly operations for a leading manufacturing organization in Wayne, NJ. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electronic assembly, wire harness fabrication, cable assembly, and soldering in accordance with IPC standards. Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, modules, and cable assemblies. Perform wire termination, routing, dressing, and installation of wire harnesses. Use hand tools such as cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and preformers. Read and interpret process sheets, prints, wiring diagrams, and route cards. Perform soldering and rework in conformance with
IPC J-STD
001 and IPC 610 standards. Use measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and scales. Fabricate wires on harness boards and perform lacing and spot tying. Support circuit card assembly preparation, masking, cleaning, and inspection activities. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 6 months of electronic assembly experience. Hands-on soldering experience. Ability to identify and orient electronic components according to polarity. Ability to read assembly drawings and process documentation. Experience using hand tools and measuring instruments. Preferred Qualifications
IPC J-STD 001
certification or training.
IPC 610 / IPC-A-610
certification or training. Experience with wire harness or cable assembly manufacturing. Active or previous security clearance is a plus.

$35.35/hour
