As an Assembler III , you will be responsible for the complex assembly of electronic and mechanical components, ensuring quality and efficiency in production processes. This role requires advanced technical skills and the ability to work independently to meet production targets. Job Responsibilities
- Perform complex mechanical and electrical assembly of products according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and inspections to ensure components meet specifications and identify and resolve assembly issues.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly procedures with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose assembly problems, making minor adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve assembly processes and product design.
- Operate and maintain specialized assembly equipment.
- Train and mentor less experienced assemblers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Accurately complete all necessary production documentation and reports. Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Advanced proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Experience training or mentoring other team members is a plus.
