Electronic Assembler SoPark Corporation - 2.8 Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $16.00 - $16.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Electronic Assembler - 2nd Shift Non-Exempt $16.00 -$16.50 plus differential SoPark Corporation, a contract electronics service provider supplying OEM's with printed circuit board and electromechanical assemblies, is looking for a 2nd shift electronic assembler to assist our production team.
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for following processes and procedures to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems to ensure maximum productivity and quality while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Locates, retrieves, follows procedures and/or work instructions; sets up workstations; masks boards; prepares components for assembly. Installs components while demonstrating proper component identification skill, sequence of hand placed parts, polarity, placement of large heat-producing components, resistors and jump wires as required. Washes boards and sends them to final inspection. Work on special projects as assigned. Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Skills required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Organizational skills Skills Desired but not required: Experience with circuit boards Soldering experience Experience with handling and placing electronic components. Physical requirements/
Essential Functions:
Regularly required to sit/stand/walk for extended periods. Have good hand dexterity and ability to reach with hands/arms. Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift between 40 and 45 pounds.
