Based on experience and demonstrated capabilities Job Overview Tiger Performance Products is seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler / Communications Technician to join our aviation, marine and safety-equipment company. Applicants must be 20 years of age or older and must have previous hands-on experience with soldering, wiring, electronic assembly, communications equipment or closely related technical work. The right candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented and committed to producing clean, accurate and professional work. Responsibilities Assemble aviation, marine and industrial communication systems Perform soldering, wiring and electronic assembly Strip, terminate and connect wires and cables Install connectors, plugs, switches and electronic components Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics and assembly instructions Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and workmanship Test communication equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues Use multimeters and other electronic testing equipment Maintain organized tools, parts and production materials Keep the workbench and surrounding work area clean at the end of every workday Follow company quality-control and safety procedures Complete assignments accurately and within expected timelines Work cooperatively with production, sales and technical staff Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Previous relevant hands-on experience is required Experience with soldering, wiring, electronic assembly or communications equipment Ability to strip, terminate and connect wires and cables accurately Experience installing connectors, plugs, switches and electronic components Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics or technical assembly instructions Familiarity with multimeters and basic electronic testing equipment Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace High school diploma or equivalent Must be seeking stable, long-term employment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Must be on time Preferred Experience Aviation, marine, radio or intercom equipment Communication headsets and helmet communication systems Cable and harness assembly Technical-school, vocational-school or associate-degree training Troubleshooting electronic or communication equipment Small-component or precision assembly What We Offer Full-time, Monday-Friday daytime schedule Competitive pay based on experience On-the-job product and technical training Opportunity for advancement Stable, long-term employment Hands-on experience with specialized aviation, marine and safety equipment Professional, team-oriented work environment About Tiger Performance Tiger Performance Products has served the aviation, marine, racing, rescue and safety industries for more than 30 years.
