Electrical Assembler

Employee performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical system. Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas of the car shell/train. Work involves technical application of electrical principles.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Must have vast knowledge with electrical hand tools, crimpers, and crimping dies. Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical equipment on the train. Reads and understands wiring process books and control sheets. Wire routing, wire harness building, and terminate a wide range of connectors. May do other trades work incidental to electrical work. Capable of process improvement. Collaborate with management any issues that may arise with project. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

TRAINING/EDUCATION REQUIRED

High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school. Minimum 3 months experience as an Electrical assembler
