JOB DESCRIPTION
Under minimum supervision, assembles and wires difficult and complex electronic assemblies. Wirers, solders and assembles from diagrams, sketches and verbal instructions Uses color code for component identification. Uses all assembly tools such as soldering irons, pliers, cutters, strippers, bench drill press, etc. May suggest and make wiring layout changes with the approval of the development engineer. May compile parts lists Incorporates all engineering changes into final unit noting changes on the wiring assembly drawings Performs continuity testing of the wiring assemblies Maintains Solder or Inspection Certification to company workmanship standards Actively contributes to successful Lean Implementation Perform other duties as requested Minimum of 2+ years wiring experience in an Electronics Manufacturing environment. Knowledge of electronic theory and the ability to apply basic knowledge of electronic theory. Ability to read, write, speak English. Ability to work as a member of a team and participate in goal setting, performance feedback and self-development activities.
Education Required:
High School or equivalent
