Canty Inc. is a globally recognized process engineering and manufacturing company with operations in Lockport, New York, and Dublin, Ireland. Founded in 1977, we specialize in the design and manufacture of vision-based process control systems, particle sizing technologies, process lighting, and sight glass solutions. J.M. Canty serves a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, oil and gas, glass, food processing, and mining, delivering innovative solutions that enhance process monitoring, control, and efficiency. Job Responsibilities Assemble materials and components. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, specifications, and reports. Collaborate with supervisors to review work activities. Inspect wiring installations and assembled components. Assemble electrical and electronic systems, support structures, subassemblies, wiring, enclosures, and related components using soldering and other assembly techniques. Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair electrical equipment as needed. Perform product testing and inspections to ensure conformance to specifications. Build and assemble products including power supply junction boxes, camera systems, and lighting assemblies. Conduct functional performance testing to ensure proper operation of completed assemblies. Assist with pulling parts and materials for assembly projects for yourself and other team members. Organize and maintain inventory racks, materials, and supplies to support efficient workflow. Provide backup support for primary parts puller during absences, vacations, or as operational needs require. Qualifications Minimum of one year of assembly experience preferred. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced production environment. Able to lift up to 50lbs
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
