Job Description HII, Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Manufacturing Assembly Technician for their Syracuse, NY Manufacturing Operations. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. You will also support the daily activities of the production line and/or processing areas and help build long-term capability within the Manufacturing Organization.
Essential Job Responsibilities Mechanical assembly and installation of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies Work with team members in assembly and integration of new and existing products Deliver work according to quality requirements and work instructions Adhere to processes and procedures to meet business and program objectives Analyze and identify opportunities for process improvements Efficiently operate hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, wire cutters, wire strippers & crimpers Identify and resolve tasks independently Follow ESD principles and safeguarding practices Able to lift 40 pounds Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience. Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, part lists, connection diagrams, schematics, engineering sketches. Ability to work with standardized procedures for high repeatability in an advanced and connected environment. Ability to obtain IPC-610, IPC-620, and
