Job Description
The Assembler position at Solid State Cooling Systems is a key component in the manufacturing process. The Assembler will work in manufacturing department using hands and hand tools in order to assemble thermoelectric temperature control devices. We are looking for a candidate that is willing and eager to learn how to assemble our products while maintaining a high level of quality. Duties and Responsibilities Primarily responsible for building temperature control devices and sub-assemblies according to Company specifications and ISO procedures Achieve acceptable production throughput following appropriate training Responsible for housekeeping and maintaining clean and tidy working environment Communicate effectively with with Managers, Co-workers, Engineers, and Technicians Qualifications and Requirements Ability to work with hands and basic hand tools Hand/Eye coordination and manual dexterity is necessary Strong commitment to high quality, consistency and repeatability Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds Hard working and dependable Ability to read procedures and follow both written and verbal instructions Ability to get along with others and work in a team-oriented environment Ability to master multiple procedures across product lines Must be flexible regarding work assignments after appropriate training Other High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred, but not required Participation in a quarterly bonus program Fully sponsored benefits available for full-time employees Applications are considered on the basis of skills, experience and qualifications without regard to race, age, creed, color, nationality, gender, sexual preference, marital status, military background, disability or any other legally protected status.
