This position is offering a pay range of $21 - $27/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Job Requirements- High school diploma or technical certification in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in electronic assembly or production (small-scale or prototyping environment preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, focused team
Responsibilities:
Assembly & Soldering- Assemble PCBs, sub-assemblies, and full product systems according to assembly drawings and work instructions
- Perform precision soldering of surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components
- Wire, crimp, and route cables/harnesses within devices as required
- Operate hand tools, soldering irons, and other bench equipment Prototype Support
- Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical tests on prototypes and production units to confirm performance and reliability
- Assist engineers during prototype builds by testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies to pinpoint and correct issues
- Used hand and power tools to make mechanical adjustments, repairs, and alignments on electronic enclosures and assemblies Hand tools
