Job Description

Component Preparation:
Carefully unpack, inspect, and prepare all generator components (engine block, alternator, control panels, fuel lines, cooling system parts, etc.) for assembly.
Mechanical Assembly:
Mount engine to the generator base. Install and align the alternator with the engine. Connect and secure cooling system components (radiators, hoses, coolant lines). Assemble and install the exhaust system.
Fuel System Assembly:
Install and route gas lines, including pressure regulators and filters. Connect fuel supply connections to the engine.
Electrical Assembly:
Install and wire control panels and electrical components according to schematics. Connect wiring harnesses to the engine and alternator. Perform initial electrical testing and troubleshooting.
Enclosure Assembly:
Secure generator enclosure panels and components. Install necessary ventilation and soundproofing materials.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough inspections throughout the assembly process to identify any defects or misalignments. Perform functional testing of the generator to ensure proper operation. Maintain detailed records of assembly steps and quality checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Mechanical Aptitude:
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, including alignment, torque specifications, and basic troubleshooting.
Electrical Knowledge:
Familiarity with electrical wiring diagrams, basic electrical components, and safety procedures.
Blueprint Reading:
Ability to interpret and follow detailed assembly drawings and schematics.
Hand Tool Proficiency:
Skilled use of hand tools like wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and measuring devices.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy components, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
Work Environment:
