Pay will completely depend on experience. This position will be working 8-5pm with overtime available. Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Soldering Technician and become a vital contributor to the creation of high-quality electronic products. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, soldering, and wiring electro-mechanical components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help ensure that our products meet rigorous quality standards and are delivered on time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in electronics assembly, surface mount technology, and electrical schematic interpretation within a fast-paced, innovative environment. Duties Perform soldering of surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) following detailed blueprints and schematics Assemble electrical panels and electro-mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute assembly tasks Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and ohmmeters to verify component placement and electrical continuity Conduct troubleshooting of electrical assemblies and identify issues related to wiring, solder joints, or component placement Follow IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly to ensure quality and compliance in all work performed Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve assembly or manufacturing issues through troubleshooting and process improvements Skills Strong knowledge of PCB design, manufacturing processes, and surface mount technology techniques Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings with attention to detail Experience with soldering techniques for both surface mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components Familiarity with electrical wiring, electrical schematic reading, and blueprint specifications Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices accurately Understanding of electro-mechanical components and mechanical assembly processes Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly and quality assurance practices Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes and mechanical assembly procedures Engineering troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues in electrical or mechanical assemblies effectively Prior experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical panels, or automation systems is a plus Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safety standards in a manufacturing environment Join us as a Soldering Technician where your skills will directly impact the production of innovative electronic solutions.
