Job Description

Electronics Assembler 7620 Cetronia Road, Allentown, PA 18106 From $18 an hour - Full-time From $18 an hour - Full-time The Electronic Assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and packaging electronic components and assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a production environment Key Responsibilities Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and be able to use basic hand tools, test equipment, solder and operate basic wire termination equipment Must be familiar with manufacturing electrical/electronic assembly techniques and equipment. Responsible for producing a product within time standards to departmental quality standards as directed by his/her respective Team Leader/ Departmental Supervisor Monitor the date codes, follow FIFO process first in first out. Inspect assembled products for defects and verify quality standards Conduct basic functional testing and troubleshoot and or repairing work. Maintain accurate production and quality records Follow safety, ESD, and cleanliness procedures Meet production schedules and quality targets Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes Work is produced within established time standards. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Output conforms to established standards. Work in safe manner and follow company safety guidance. Train workers to produce quality products. Work overtime when needed. Help other departments if needed. Perform all other tasks or requirements as needed. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing preferred (training may be provided) Ability to use hand tools, soldering irons, and measuring equipment Basic knowledge of electronic components and assemblies Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good communication and teamwork skills Must be comfortable in a high-quality manufacturing plant environment. Must be able to work well with others in a high stress production environment Understand quality assurance issues and maintain a commitment to quality. Understand relationships of various departments and functions within the plant environment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions Physical Requirements Most of the workday would be spent in a manufacturing plant environment at an electronic workstation while occasionally being required to perform moderately physical tasks associated with manufacturing production. Must be able to go up and down steps several times a day. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds. •Pre-employment drug screen and background check required for all positions •
