Job Description

We are looking to add a Panel Shop Technician (also known as a Panel Wirer, Control Panel Builder, or Electrical Assembler) who works with the DVL Power Systems and Engineering team and is responsible for the construction, wiring and testing of switchgear and control panels. This Technician safely constructs control panels in the Bristol, PA Panel Shop with neat and high-quality wiring work. Come work for a nationally certified Great Place To Work Company since 2018!
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
Accurately constructs control panels in the panel shop Correctly inventories parts received Accurately updates project BOM and white board Correctly scans inventoried package list and emails to coordinators and engineers Wiring work performed is neat, looks like quality and resembles high quality OEM construction Maintains good communication pertaining to projects with management Maintains a sufficient level of understanding the NEC Works in a safe manner, knowledgeable of and follows industry standard safety practices including knowledge of OSHA UL508A and
NFPA 70E
guidelines and requirements Maintains an acceptable personal driving record relative to points, accidents and safe driving habits within the company vehicles Professionally interfaces with company coworkers, site end users, contractors, engineers, etc. Fills out company paperwork and other documentation timely and accurately
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
One-year certificate from a college or trade school Able to read schematics and implement into wiring Some related Power Service experience including constructing control panels and field wiring modifications preferred Panel shop wiring experience preferred Safety training or OSHA 10 preferred Excellent customer service skills and experience Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel Valid driver's license to drive to Bristol, PA office daily and eventually to various customer sites Available to perform scheduled on-call & overtime duties
