Contractor Work Model:
Onsite Objective Assemble industrial equipment and machine components by following specifications, drawings, and work instructions. The role focuses on building reliable mechanical systems with some exposure to basic electrical assembly tasks. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in production machinery Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment such as drill presses Interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions Measure, cut, and align parts using standard measuring tools Perform basic electrical-related assembly tasks when required Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and function Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures Requirements Prior experience in mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturing Ability to operate common hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings Proficiency in using tape measures and standard measuring devices Ability to lift and handle components typical of manufacturing environments Preferences Experience with electrical components or basic wiring Familiarity with industrial equipment or machinery assembly Previous work in a production or manufacturing setting #M-1
