Assembler - Elevator Components |
Hanover, PA Shift:
1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)Pay Rate:
$18/hour Key Responsibilities Assemble and package mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, and fabricated components. Build elevator doors, walls, and subassemblies using production documentation. Complete assembly, alignment, and packing tasks while meeting quality and productivity standards. Interpret SAP data, COE sheets, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Safely operate hand and power tools. Read and interpret basic blueprints and tape measurements. Support assembly operations through picking, packing, and kitting activities. Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Required Qualifications Mechanical assembly experience or strong mechanical aptitude. Experience using hand and power tools safely. Ability to accurately read tape measurements. Basic blueprint reading skills. Picking, packing, and kitting experience. Ability to follow manufacturing documentation and engineering drawings. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long durations. Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with electromechanical components. Familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing systems. Previous experience in a clean manufacturing environment. Comfortable working in a moderate-noise production setting. Reliable work ethic with a willingness to learn. steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and long pants. Prolonged standing and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
