Manual Assembler - Custom Electronic Control Panels Job Description This role focuses on assembling custom electronic control panels and small electronic components based on detailed blueprints and work instructions. You will perform small parts assembly of terminal blocks and associated hardware, working at various workstations in a clean, modern production environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and solid math skills, with opportunities to work in teams, small batch production, or flow lines. Responsibilities Assemble custom control panels and electronic components based on blueprints and technical drawings. Perform small parts assembly of terminal blocks and associated hardware with a high level of accuracy. Work at various workstations, including pods, to complete electronic and mechanical assemblies. Perform hand assembly of various products, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to specifications. Complete final assembly and packaging of various assemblies prior to shipment or further processing. Conduct screening and separation of various parts to ensure proper fit, function, and quality. Record assembly time data accurately and complete all associated routing, quality documents, and other related forms. Operate production equipment and machines as needed, such as CMS Plotter, EZ Label, and PLS Web Printer, when trained and required. Assist in other production areas as needed to support overall workflow and production targets. Focus on increasing productivity in all assigned activities while maintaining quality standards. Follow all required personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines, applicable ISO specifications, and company procedures. Perform miscellaneous assigned tasks to support production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Skills Experience in electronic assembly or mechanical assembly, with at least 1 year of experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions for electronic and mechanical assemblies. Basic math skills to support accurate measurements, counts, and assembly work. Hands-on experience working with electronic parts, components, and small hardware. Familiarity with production environments, including working in teams, small batch production, or flow lines. Ability to perform wiring, soldering, and basic PC usage as part of assembly tasks (experience preferred). Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to follow ISO specifications, company procedures, and PPE requirements. Willingness to work on 3rd shift or other shifts as needed based on production schedules. Additional Skills & Qualifications Electronic assembly or mechanical assembly experience is preferred but not strictly required. Blueprint reading experience is preferred and considered a strong advantage. Experience with soldering, wiring, and working on circuit boards is beneficial. Comfort using production-related software or basic PC skills to record time and quality data. Secondary education involving electronics is desired but not required. A degree from a technical school is a plus but not required. A 2-year degree in a field centered around electronics, combined with industry experience, is ideal but not mandatory. A high school diploma or GED is not required for this role. Ability to learn to operate machines such as CMS Plotter, EZ Label, and PLS Web Printer. Why Work Here?
