Full Job Description Mission Summary:
We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our Pittsburgh-based team supporting the build, testing, and validation of advanced electromechanical systems — primarily focused on autonomous and electric vehicle platforms. This is a hands-on, senior-level technician role for someone with deep electrical and mechanical knowledge.Key Responsibilities:
Proficient in complex wire harness fabrication, with the proven ability to execute builds from a Bill of Materials (BOM) and schematics. Support prototype builds, retrofits, and system integrations for advanced vehicle programs. Assemble, diagnose, and repair electromechanical systems. Able to perform at a high level in a rapid prototype research and development environment. Create concise documentation of work being performed. Maintain high safety and quality standards across all work performed.Minimum Qualifications:
Experienced with harness fabrication and assembly Knowledge of electromechanical systems—CAN, Ethernet, low-voltage, sensors, and actuators. Expected to work efficiently and collaboratively within a close knit team environment Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electromechanical issues. Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks. Strong communication and documentation skills.Bonus Skills:
IPC/WHMA-A-620
certification or equivalent industry-standard harness fabrication certification. Prior experience in a rapid prototyping environment. Experience with JIRA and Confluence. Experience with CAD or harness design software such as EB-CAD or SolidWorks Electrical. Familiarity with flashing ECUs and basic diagnostics using UDS or OBD tools. Knowledge of vehicle safety systems and industry quality standards. This role is based in our Pittsburgh office and requires in-office days each week.
